| Removing, installing, cutting section in roof insulation/reinforcement (RIR) |
Note | The functions of the roof bracing and insulation components are taken over by the RIR, which is bonded to the whole of the roof. To remove dents in the roof, a section of the RIR can be cut out. The section should be no greater than 1000 cm2 (e.g. 40 cm x 25 cm). The space should be filled again with an appropriately sized section following repair work. If a section of RIR greater than 1000 cm2 has to be cut out laterally or longitudinally, the whole of the RIR has to be renewed. |
