Adjusting partial throttle switch

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items

  • ◆ Glow plug with 12 mm hexagon drive or equivalent distance piece

Work sequence

Notes:

  • ◆ Adjust new switch as follows until more precise details are produced.

X26-0823
  • ‒ → Operate injection pump lever and clamp 12 mm hexagon drive of glow plug between stop -arrow 1- and lower edge of operating lever -arrow 2-.
  • ‒ Press operating lever securely against glow plug -arrow 3- and in this position adjust partial throttle switch by sliding in elongated holes so that the switch point (switch clicks) is just behind heighest point on curved plate -arrow 4-.

Note:

The upper partial throttle switch cover is shown removed so that switch point on illustration is clearer.
