Matching automatic gearbox control unit and throttle valve potentiometer to one another

Note:

The automatic gearbox control unit and throttle valve potentiometer must be matched to one another after the following work has been completed:

  • ◆ Renewal of automatic gearbox control unit
  • ◆ Removing and installing throttle valve potentiometer
  • ◆ Renewal of throttle valve housing

Matching

  • ‒ Using fault reader V.A.G. 1551 bring system to basic setting:

=> Automatic gearbox 096; Repair Group 01; Self-diagnosis; Introduction of basic setting
