With A/C

Evaporator/Heater Housing Assembly

WARNING:  Automotive refrigerant containing CFC's is hazardous to the earths atmosphere. To protect our environment use an
Underwriters Laboratory (UL) approved refrigerant recovery/recycling unit such as Kent-Moore ACR3, or equivalent, whenever discharging
an A/C system.

The fresh-air blower can be reached by removing the glovebox. Virtually any other work on components of the air distribution housing, including the 
heater core or the A/C evaporator, requires discharging the A/C system, draining the engine coolant, and removing the instrument panel.

Note:  

Remove air distribution and evaporator housing to replace components 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 15 (identified with an *).
The instrument panel must be removed before removing Air Distribution and Evaporator Housing. Refer to Instrument Panel Service and Repair. See:
