Wiring For Selector Lever Lock, Selector Lever Illumination And Tiptronic, Removing And Installing 

Removing 
-

Remove center console and extension.

-

Disconnect connector -1- for selector lever lock solenoid -2- (concealed).

-

Unclip cover -3- and lift up.

-

Pull out connector -4- for gearshift positions and Tiptronic in direction of arrow.

-

Disconnect wiring at connector -5-.

Installing 
Installation is performed in the reverse sequence.

Selector Lever Handle, Removing And Installing 

Removing
-

Shift selector lever into position "2".

-

Slide sleeve -1- down as far as it will go.

-

Carefully pull button -2- out of selector lever handle -3- over the detent point until dimension "a" is obtained. Lever -4- will then be pulled out of
rod -5-.

Dimension "a" = 5 mm (0.19 inch)

Dimension "a" corresponds to width of connecting eye -6- on spring -7-.

Do not stretch or forcibly remove the spring
-

Simultaneously pull handle -3- off selector lever -8-.

Installing 
-

Shift selector lever into position "2"
