Disconnect the vacuum lines - arrows -.

-

Disconnect the following connectors:

NOTE:  It is easier to open connectors that are hard to access when using the assembly tool T10118.

Intake flap motor V157 connector

-

Evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge regulator valve N80 connector

-

Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor G71 connector

-

Throttle valve control module J338 connector

-

Low fuel pressure sensor G410 connector

-

Disconnect the connectors - arrows -.

-

Loosen the wiring bracket - A - and lay the entire wiring harness aside.

-

Pry the coupling rod - arrow - off the intake flap motor V157.

-

Remove the bolts - 1 - from above with the 1/4" reversible ratchet bit and T30 bit insert.

-

Remove the bolt - 2 - from below with the socket T10347.

-

Remove the intake flap motor V157 from the intake manifold.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal, noting the following:
