Camshaft: Service and Repair
REMOVING
-
Set engine to TDC for cyl. 1 mark by turning engine in running direction at vibration damper bolt.

Remove cylinder head cover.
-
Remove ignition coil (N152).
-
Remove double chain tensioner.
-
Remove camshaft sprocket cover.
-
Remove camshaft mounting bolts.
NOTE: Counter-hold camshaft using only 24 mm open-end wrench -arrow-. The camshaft fixture 3268 must not be in place when you tighten
or loosen chain sprockets.

Remove camshaft sprockets.

Mark double chain before removing (use paint, arrow pointing in engine running direction).
