Installation instructions

‒ → Apply adhesive material (continuous bead) to pre-coating -1-, applicator at right angle to window.

Warning!
Window must be installed within 10 minutes, otherwise adhesive properties of adhesive sealant will be impaired.

◆ With help of two double suction cups (V.A.G 1344) install glass pane in window opening, centre and press in onto the spacing lip.
◆ Secure window glass in position with adhesive tape during the curing process.
◆ If the adhesive bead has been applied too thick and the adhesive expands onto the area of the window heating, then the excess adhesive must be removed.
◆ It is absolutely necessary to install plenum chamber trim as described on page 64-6 .
