  • ◆ The pinion shaft with parking lock gear and the valve chest must be removed to dismantle and assemble the parking lock.
  • ◆ Adjusting multi-function switch .
  • Seal
    • ◆ For selector shaft
    • ◆ Removing => Fig.1

  • Selector shaft
    • ◆ Removing and installing => Fig. 3
    • ◆ Prevent axial impact on the selector shaft when transporting the gearbox as the bolt -item 3 - could shear
  • Bolt, 10 Nm
    • ◆ Locks the selector shaft in the gearbox housing

  • ‒ Fill space between seal and dust lips of new seal with multi-purpose grease.
  • ‒ Drive seal in onto stop using either T30030 or press piece 3401.

Driving out

  • ‒ Only drive spring pins for lever -4- and selector segment -5- out as far as is necessary to remove the selector shaft -2-.

Driving in

  • ‒ Drive spring pins in flush after fitting the selector shaft in selector segment and lever.
  • ‒ Lock selector lever with bolt -3-.

  • ‒ Remove bolt -arrow-.
  • ‒ Take off cover plate -1- and pull out shaft for detent lever.
  • ‒ Remove return spring -2- and detent lever.

When installing, hook end of the return spring on detent lever with the other end of the spring contacting the gearbox housing.
