Notes:

  • ◆ After working on the exhaust system ensure that the system is not under stress, and that it has sufficient clearance from the bodywork. If necessary, loosen double and single clamps and align silencer and exhaust pipe so that sufficient clearance is maintained to the bodywork and the support rings are evenly loaded.
  • ◆ If the catalyst is renewed, erase learnt values and adapt the engine control unit:

=> Repair group 24; Engine control unit; Erasing learnt values and adapting engine control unit to throttle valve control part

  • ◆ Renew self-locking nuts.
  • ◆ Components marked with * will be checked by self-diagnosis:

=> Repair group 01; Fault memory; Interrogating and erasing fault memory
