Removing

• ‒ Disconnect battery earth strap.
• ‒ Centralize steering wheel.
• ‒ → Remove both socket head bolts from airbag unit.
• ‒ Remove airbag unit from steering wheel and pull connector off airbag unit.

Installing

Install in reverse order

Note:

Only use new hexagon socket head bolts for airbag unit. Tightening torque: 7 Nm.

• ‒ After installing the airbag unit first switch on ignition, then connect battery earth strap.
