Reading data block

Note

t	The following sequence is described for the fault reader -V.A.G 1551-, the sequence described in the chapter for the “vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system may also be used” → Chapter.

t	Overview of selectable display groups → Chapter.

–	Initiate self-diagnosis of dash panel insert → Chapter.

Indicated on display:

–	Press keys 0 and 8 (08 initiates the function “Read data value block”).

–	Confirm entry with Q key.

08 - Read data block

Indicated on display:

–	Select relevant display group number and confirm entry with Q key.

Example for read data block 2:

–	Press keys 0, 0 and 2.

Read data value block

Enter display group number XXX

–	Indicated on display:

Note

t	The display always shows the actual sender and sensor values. The values on the dash panel insert are filtered and therefore they can vary!

t	To change to another display group proceed as follows:

Read data block 2                     ->

  820 km         8 l           113 Ω

–	Press C key to exit the current display group.

Indicated on display:

–	Now the desired display group number can be entered or press C key again to exit the function “Read data block”.
