| Preparation of rear lid for adhesion |

| Remove masking tape for paint protection. |

| Apply the cleaning solution -D 009 401 04-, and then scrub the surface with a cloth until it is completely dry. |

| Cut the excess adhesive coat on the rear door and on the spoiler, down to a height of approximately -1 mm-. |
Note | If the adhesion is not carried out soon after cutting excess adhesive, apply activator -D 181 801 A1-. |
WARNING | The activator -D 181 801 A1- should not come into contact with the paintwork; otherwise, damages will occur. |

| Under new painting (lig painting or replacement) , apply body primer -D 009 600- on lid, by using applicator -D 009 500 25- . |

| After primer application, the spoiler surfaces should not be touched under any circumstances. |
