Prerequisite
l  No piston should be in top dead centre position.
  Note
   
The seal with spiral spring -1- has been replaced by the PTFE (Teflon) seal -2-. The latter has a wider sealing lip. PTFE seals are mounted free from oil and grease. If a PTFE seal is found mounted, it may only be replaced by the same item (replacement part)!

–  Position the seal using the Assembly sleeve -T 10071-, and press inward to the stop with the pressure bushing -T10071/1- and the screw -T10071/2-.
–  Install the key in the camshaft.

–  Install camshaft gear. To tighten the screw, block the camshaft gear with the Wrench -3415-. Tightening torque: 100 Nm.
  Note
When turning the camshaft, the crankshaft should not have any cylinder in TDC position. Risk of damages to the valves/pistons.
The rest of the assembly occurs in the reverse order of disassembly.
