  Note
t  Observe the expiration date of the Engine silicone seal -D 176 404 A2-.
t  The oil crankcase must be assembled within five minutes after applying the Engine silicone seal -D 176 404 A2-.
   
–  Cut the pipe nozzle on front marking (Ø of nozzle is approx. 3 mm).
–  Apply the Engine silicone seal -D 176 404 A2-, as shown, onto clean crankcase seal surface. The cord of the Engine silicone sealant -D 176 404 A2- must:
t  be 2...3 mm thick
t  run on inside of screw holes region -arrows-.
  Note
The cord of the Engine silicone sealant - D 176 404 A2- cannot be thicker, otherwise the excess of Engine silicone sealant -D 176 404 A2- may fall into the crankcase, where it may clog the strainer in the air intake pipe.
–  Install the crankcase immediately and tighten all the screws by hand.
–  Tightening torques for the screws: 15 Nm.
–  Tighten crankcase/transmission screws to 45 Nm.
  Note
t  When installing the crankcase in the removed engine, ensure that the crankcase seats adherent to the engine block, on the flywheel side.
t  After assembly, the Engine silicone sealant -D 176 404 A2- must dry for approximately 30 minutes. Engine oil may be replenished only after this time period has elapsed.
