Steering column - check Visual inspection: –  Check all steering column parts for damages. Check the operation: –  Check if the steering wheel column turns easily and without interference. –  Check if the steering column can be adjusted for height and length.

–  Check the dimension -a-. Dimension -a-: at least 37 mm. –  If measurement -a- is less than 37 mm, the steering wheel column is damaged and must be replaced.
