Auxiliary parking system
Auxiliary parking system
  WARNING
Before executing any work on the electric system, it is necessary to disconnect the battery -A- → Chapter earth cable.
  Note
t  Check whether the vehicle has a coded radio. If so, request the anti-theft code before disconnecting the Battery -A- earth wire.
t  Safe working conditions for repairing the electrical system are created by disconnecting the earth wire from the Battery -A- (interrupting the current).
t  Upon reconnecting the Battery -A-, check the vehicle equipment (radio, clock, power locks and windows, etc.) according to the Workshop Manual and/or instructions for use.
General description:
The auxiliary parking system and /or PDC (Park Distance Control) assists the driver to park by measuring the distance between the rear bumper and the obstacle behind the vehicle, and indicating this information through an audible alarm.
The auxiliary parking system is comprised by the elements below:

t  o Warning buzzer for rear Park Assist steering -H15-
t  o Park Assist steering sensor, left rear -G203--G203-
t  o Park Assist steering sensor, left rear, centre -G204-
t  o Park Assist steering sensor, right rear, centre -G205-
t  o Park Assist steering sensor, right rear -G206-
