Cut off the nozzle on the tube of sealant at the front mark (dia. of nozzle approximately 3 mm).

Apply silicone sealant to clean sealing surfaces of oil pan as shown. The sealing compound bead must be:

2 to 3 mm thick.

and run on inside of bolt holes - arrows -.
Note:

Sealant bead must not be thicker than specified. Otherwise, excess sealant could get into oil pan and clog strainer in intake line of oil pump.

With transmission removed, oil pan must seal flush with cylinder block.
^
With transmission installed, oil pan must make contact on transmission.
^
After installing oil pan, allow sealant to dry for approximately 30 minutes. Only after then may the engine oil be replenished.

Apply silicone sealing compound bead as illustrated to clean sealing surface of oil pan.

Install oil pan immediately and tighten all oil pan bolts lightly.
-
Tighten the oil pan bolts to 10 Nm.

Tighten the oil pan/transmission bolts to 45 Nm.
The rest of the assembly is basically a reverse of the disassembling sequence.
