Adjusting:

-

Place selector lever in position "P".

-

Loosen bolt - 2 - of cable - 1 -.

Tap lightly on selector lever handle toward front and rear, however do not shift out of "P" under any circumstances.

Thus, optimal position of inner cable is found.

Set lever/selector shaft - 3 - at transmission to "P" position (press lever toward rear).

Note:  To make sure that the transmission is located in "P" (parking lock engaged), lift the vehicle. Both front wheels must not be able to be turned
together in one direction.

Tighten bolt - 2 - to 15 Nm.

Selector Lever Emergency Release

Selector lever emergency release 09G, 6 Speed A/T

Do not remove knob.
-

Unclip shifter cover and hold it aside.

-

Operate brake or activate parking brake.

-

Press yellow plastic part from right to left. Lever can now be shifted out of P position.

Knob, removing and installing

For all knobs there is the possibility to push the button into the knob. Do not install the knob with the button pushed in under any circumstance.
