Spread a small quantity of grease G 000 450 02 on pin - arrows - of transmission shift lever - 1 - and of actuator lever - 2 -.

-

Replace lock washers - 3 - and - 4 - after each disassembly.

-

Secure shift cable with retaining disc - 3 - and selector cable with retaining disc - 4 -.

-

Align shift housing parallel to body.

Distance to body must be same on both sides.

Install center console.

-

Boot with shifter knob and noise insulation, removing and installing.

-

Install heat shield.

-

Install exhaust system free of tension and install tunnel braces.

Adjust shift mechanism.

-

If removed, install entire air filter housing.

-

Observe work procedures after connecting battery.
