Washer Nozzle Holder, Removing And Installing 

Removing: 

-

Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

-

Remove spray jet with cover cap -1- up to stop out of bumper cover.

-

Unclip cover cap -1- from bearings -arrows- on spray jet holder.

-

Lift lug -arrow- slightly and pull out spray jet holder.

Installing: 

NOTE:  With the lugs on the spray jet holder, it can be adjusted how strongly the spray jet cover cap is fastened onto bumper cover. If spray jet holder is
not slid in far enough, cover cap does not close. If spray jet holder is slid in too forcefully, cover cap and bumper cover may be deformed.

Slide spray jet holder into lift cylinder until it engages.

Install cover cap onto spray jet holder and let down lift cylinder.

-

Check cover cap for correct seating on bumper cover.

-

Adjust cover cap if necessary by shifting spray jet holder into a higher or lower catch on the lift cylinder.

-

Bleed headlamp washer system after completing assembly work.

-

Check spray jets for headlamp cleaning system and adjust if necessary.
