Clutch Master Cylinder: Service and Repair
Master Cylinder

Master Cylinder - 0A4, 5 Speed M/T

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Pliers T10005

Removing

-

Remove the mounting bracket.

-

Disengage master cylinder operating rod mount using pliers T10005.

-

Place spacer -A- between clutch pedal and stop and press clutch pedal toward spacer.

Length of spacer = approximately 40 mm (e.g. 1/2 " socket insert)

-

Release the retaining clip -B- and pull the master cylinder out of the mounting bracket -arrow 1- and -arrow 2-.

Installing

^

Move clutch pedal up to stop in rest position.
