Allocate all components.

-

Fasten impact bolster -1- in front of clutch pedal -2- and tighten to specified torque.

-

Install trim panel on driver side, as well as covering under trim cover.

-

Press hose/line assembly -1- with O-ring -2- into connection of master cylinder -4-, until securing clip -3- audibly engages.

-

Verify by pulling on hose/line assembly.

-

Bleed clutch system.

-

Install battery.

-

Remove entire air filter housing.

Tightening torques

Over-Center Spring

Over-Center Spring - 0A4, 5 Speed M/T

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Removing

-

Slide drivers seat as far to the rear as possible and set steering wheel to the highest position.

-

Remove the trim panel on the driver side, as well as the covering under the trim panel.

There are different ways of securing the impact bolster -1- in front of the clutch pedal -2-.
