Use Hose Clamp 3094 to clamp supply hose to master cylinder.

-

Using a screwdriver disengage securing clip -2- and pull out of master cylinder until it stops.

-

Disconnect hose/line assembly -1- from master cylinder and plug it.

All vehicles

-

Disconnect electrical connector -4-.

-

Unclip Clutch Position Sensor G476 on master cylinder -arrow- and remove.

Installing

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Replace seals.

Replace hose clamps.

Allocate all components.

If hose/line assembly was removed:

-

Press in hose/line assembly -1- with new sealing ring -2- to connection of master cylinder -4- until securing clip -3- engages audibly.

Verify by pulling on hose/line assembly.

All vehicles

-

Install battery carrier and battery.

-

Install complete air filter housing, if it is located in the vicinity of the battery.

-

Connect battery and observe the work procedures for after connecting the battery.
