15. Split the two halves of the housing and remove the evaporator
Installation
1. Place evaporator in evaporator case, apply sealant (3M strip caulk #8578 or equivalent) on top of the original gasket in the evaporator housing
joint.
NOTE: Silicone sealer is not recommended because it does not adhere to the housing material.
2. Reassemble evaporator case and reinstall.
3. Fill radiator with coolant.
4. Recharge A/C.
