Corrosion or insufficient lubrication of clutch disc/mainshaft splines, and release bearing guide sleeve on 013/014 transmissions, may cause clutch
binding or shifting problems.

Repair Procedure
-

remove transmission

-

disassemble clutch assembly, inspect parts, and replace worn components clean mainshaft/clutch disc splines and coat with MOS2 grease For
transmission 013/014, also perform the following:

-

inspect release bearing guide sleeve and replace if worn. Coat with Molykote(R) spray or equivalent

-

grease contact area of clutch release bearing

-

reinstall transmission and check operation
