Shift Rail: Service and Repair

List of Modifications: 

Shift Forks/Rails

-

1st/2nd and 3rd/4th gear shift forks/rails are riveted and welded to maintain proper alignment to each other

Synchronizers

-

1st/2nd and 3rd/4th gear synchronizers have been changed to prevent jumping out of gear

-

Changes cannot be detected visually

Reverse Shift Fork/Rail

-

Mating surfaces of fork/rail have splines to properly align to each other

-

Reverse shift rail is lengthened and has two bearing shells which ride in 3rd bearing, which is housed in boss provided in gear carrier cover
