CLEANING THE HEATER UNIT DRAINAGE HOSE, 200
In certain cases the heater unit drainage hose can be blocked by residue from glues and other types of particles. Correct function of the drainage hose is
important to avoid dampness from penetrating the interior of the car.
This service bulletin describes the method for cleaning out the drainage hose. The drainage hose should be cleaned initially, under warranty, to remove
glue residue. Subsequent cleanings to remove debris should be carried out at the standard service point, 15,000 or 10,000 kilometers (9,300 or 6,200
miles), depending on the model year.
