Mass Air Flow Sensor: Service and Repair

PROTECTIVE SCREEN REPLACEMENT

The protective screen(s) can be replaced on air mass meter with aluminum housing, 1983-84 M/Y.

1.

Remove lock ring and screen

2.

Pry out the lock ring with a small screwdriver.

3.

Install screen and lock ring. Make sure the lock ring is fully inserted in the groove.
