PROCEDURE:

Remove the radio from the dash.

Remove the BN wire from Pos. 7 in the 14-pole connector, cut the terminal and crimp the red splice to the wire.

Cut approx. 2" BN 1.0 sq.mm wire. Crimp one end to the splice, crimp a terminal p/n 949489-9 to the other end and connect it to pos. 1 in the relay
socket.

Cut approx. 4" BN 1.0 sq.mm wire. Crimp one terminal p/n 949489-9 to one end and one terminal p/n 968070-3 to the other.

Connect the mini-timer terminal to pos. 7 in the 14-pole connector and the 6.3 mm terminal to pos. 5 or 3 in the relay socket.

Cut approx. 4" of BL 1.0 sq.mm wire. Crimp one terminal p/n 949489-9 to one end and connect it to pos. 2 in the relay socket. The other end should
be connected with a red Scotch-lock to the BL-W wire.

Cut approx. 4" of SB 1.5 sq.mm wire. Crimp a terminal p/n 949489-9 to one end and connect it to pos. 4 in the relay socket. The other end should be
connected with a blue Scotch-lock to the SB wire.

Mount and tape relay to the radio harness.

Reinstall radio and check operation.
