-Ignition off.
-Disconnect the wiring to ignition coil terminal 1.
-Disconnect the power stage and the control modules.
Connect an ohmmeter to the wire that ran between ignition coil terminal 12 and GND.
The ohmmeter should read infinite resistance.
If this value is OK
-Check wiring UF3.
If this value Is Incorrect
-Check the wiring between the power stage and the ignition coil for grounding.
-Check the tachometer and its wiring for grounding.

Checking The Signal
-Connect the control module and power stage.
-Install the fuse.
-Disconnect terminal -1 from the ignition coil.
Connect a voltmeter to the wire that was connected between terminal -1 on the ignition coil and GND.
-Operate the starter motor.
The voltmeter should read approx. 250 mV.
If the value Is OK
-Checking ignition coil UF4.
If the value Is Incorrect:
-Try using a new power stage.
