To assist in material analysis, Volvo requests that all turbo units equipped with the new type (finned) center housing returned to Parts Testing must be
accompanied by one (1) quart of engine oil, from the oil in the engine at the time of failure.

IMPORTANT! DO NOT USE GLASS BOTTLES BECAUSE OF RISK FROM BREAKAGE

The oil sample should be marked with the claim number and be packed with the Turbo unit, together with a completed survey form (see attached).
