NOTE:

The flexible exhaust pipe, P/N 1274757-2, is installed at the factory on vehicles from my 1985.
Make sure there is no tension in the exhaust pipe when installing the new pipe.

3.Installation of New Motor Mounts

The new mounting gives a different angle for the rubber cushions, which reduce the transmission of vibrations from the engine to the cross
member.

The new engine mounts have been introduced in production during MY 1985 from the following chassis numbers:

704-143842 (vehicles manufactured in Belgium, Factory 2) 704-164577 (vehicles manufactured in Sweden, Factory 1)

NOTE:

The new motor mounts must not be installed unless Section 1 and 2 in this bulletin have been performed.
