Fuel Pressure Regulator: Testing and Inspection

1.

Momentarily activate fuel pump to build up pressure.

2.

Set gauge lever to position 2 (right angles to gauge hoses).

3.

Block the fuel distributor-to-tank return line.

4.

Stop the pump. If pressure drop stops, a leaking line pressure regulator is indicated.
