FAULT TRACING NOT POSSIBLE TO DISENGAGE START DISABLER
Fault Tracing 10 & 11 Information
FAULT TRACING 10 ALARM SOUNDS OCCASIONALLY WHEN DRIVING
The irregular occurrence of such a fault makes it difficult to diagnose. Probably the fault lies at the monitor box, lock plate or lock plate wiring.
Occasionally, it may be due to a loose wire at T5.
Check wire connected to T5 and central fuse box (see installation instructions).
If fault still remains, fit a new lock kit.
FAULT TRACING 11 INCORRECT SOUNDING OF ALARM
Difficult to ascertain cause of problem, but usually the fault is not due to the monitor box.
The fault is probably due to the vibration sensor wiring. To check this, disconnect each sensor in turn until the defective one is found. Listed below are
the most usual causes:
Defective vibration sensor wiring
1.
Vibration sensors incorrectly connected or mounted.
2.
Corroded or poor connections.
3.
Defective vibration sensors.
4.
Physical activation of vibration sensors (i.e. intentional activation).
Defective magnetic switch wiring (trunk and hood) .
1.
Magnetic switches incorrectly fitted.
2.
Magnetic switches damaged mechanically or electrically.
3.
Corroded or poor connections.
Defective door switch wiring.
1.
Door switches contaminated with dirt, redirect current when moist.
2.
Wiring kinked and occasionally grounded.
