Replacing Crash Sensor
Starting with the 1989 model year, a new ground point has-been provided for the crash sensor. The ground connection is now screwed directly onto the
crash sensor bracket. The new crash sensor is the only replacement version available. Since the crash sensor is grounded through the bracket, it is
extremely important that the bracket makes good electrical contact with the body.
