Turn radio OFF

Remove battery ground cable

Unbolt driver's seat and tilt it backwards.

Remove bolts holding seat rails to floor. Disconnect seat connector. Push seat back. Fold back carpet, remove air duct.

Remove driver's side underdash panel.

Disconnect connectors at center console. for 780: Also disconnect connectors to seat belt tensioners (see illus.)

IMPORTANT:

Never disconnect connector from crash sensor. This is vital to ensure good contact.

If necessary, cut away any plastic tape under bracket

Cut around bracket with knife (without damaging paint).
