Basic Adjustment of Push Rod
^
Connect pressure gauge P/N 9995230 and pressure tester P/N 9985496 to servo.
^
Pump up pressure to 12.5 ± 1 kPa (1.8 ± 0.145 psi).
^
Press valve arm against turbine housing (valve closed).
^
Adjust push rod until just in engagement with stud on valve arm.
^
Insert locking pin in valve arm.
^
Tighten push rod locknut.
^
Remove pressure gauge and tester.
NOTE: Pushrod must not be twisted during adjustment otherwise servo diaphragm may be damaged.
Installation
^
Install / reconnect:
-
Valve hose.
-
Fresh air hose between turbocharger and MAF sensor.
-
Turbocharger heat shield.
