Only cars with key lock:

Reconnect key lock cable.

Move gear shift lever to position P and turn ignition key to position I or 11.

Connect cable to locking plate and adjustment point in gear selector housing.

On right-hand drive models:
Install lamp holder in light molding.
6. Reinstall center console as per step 8 of Shift Cable A/T replacement. See: Shift Linkage/Shift Cable/Service and Repair

Reconnect battery ground lead.
