7. Install:

Cable sleeve in selector housing with retaining clip

Cable to gear lever arm with spindle.
8. Reconnection of connector (only cars with shift lock).

Reconnect solenoid connector.
9. Reconnection of cable, key lock (only cars with key lock).

Move gear shift lever to position P and turn ignition key to position I or 11.

Reconnect key lock cable to locking plate and adjustment point in gear selector housing.

Check key lock function as per steps 10 through 13 of Key Lock Cable replacement, refer to Starting and Charging.
10. Install:

Lamp holder on light molding.

Center console as per step 8 of Shift Cable A/T replacement. See: Shift Linkage/Shift Cable/Service and Repair

Battery negative lead.
