Connect 12 V supply to wiper motor to ensure that wiper motor assumes off position.

Install wiper motor.

Install screws.

Install crank arm (align marks).

Apply thread sealing compound, part no. 116 1053-2, to motor shaft threads.

Tighten nut (torque setting 20 Nm/15 ft.lbf). Use 26 mm fixed spanner as counterhold on crank arm when tightening nut to torque setting.

Connect connectors and tie lead as above.

Install wiper unit, fit into plug.in mount and fit screws.

Connect connectors.
-
Test wiper unit.

Install cover panel.
-
Install cover panel screws.
-
Install drain hoses.
