Install tools on subframe. Stand on LH side.
999 5517 (blank) (2 for LH side) and 999 5518 (yellow) (2 for RH side).

Position jack 998 5972 under LH side of frame.

Remove front of frame and rear bolt.

Install tool 9995517, ensuring the front is fitted with the bolt washer. Tighten tool as far as it will go. Then tighten tool nut.

Remove support bracket bolts.
-
Move jack to RH side and repeat procedure as above.
Lowering subframe [LE14]

Start by lowering front end of frame to half the tool bolt length.

Now repeat at the rear end of frame.
-
Now lower to full length of tool as per procedure above.
In cars with turbo:
-
Check while lowering that turbocharger air pipe does not get caught in radiator by lower intercooler connection.
NOTE: It is important to lower the frame in the right order, otherwise the steering wheel column joint will get caught in the body opening.
