Sunroof / Moonroof Cable: Service and Repair
Replacing Cable

Sunroof cable, replacement 

Removal 

Remove sunroof frame.  See: Sunroof / Moonroof Frame/Service and Repair

Disconnect cable blocks from control mechanism.

Remove guide studs from rear edge of rails.

Take out drain channel and control mechanism.

Pull out cable.

 
 
Installation 

Install new cable.

Install control mechanism.

Install drain channel.

Attach to cable blocks.

Install circlips.

Install guide studs.
