Model Year 1992 and newer vehicles have a new type head restraint. If a customer requests, the head restraint can be replaced with an earlier type head
restraint with a detachable cushion. Note: This will not alter the vehicle's safety compliance.

Remove head restraint

Undo head restraint catches by pressing at the black arrows. First press on one side and then the other, and press up at the same time. When the catches
have released, lift up and remove the head restraint.

Install the earlier type head restraint
