Tachometer Not Working at All
The tachometer may become inoperative due to one or more of the following:

Open circuit in tachometer signal wiring from ignition control module.

Tachometer signal wiring from ignition control module short circuited to ground or battery potential.

Defective tachometer.

Defective ignition control module.
