Clutch Master Cylinder: Service and Repair
Installation
1. Bolt the cylinder into place onto the bulkhead and fit the tube.
2. Connect the hose to the brake fluid reservoir.
3. Fit the pin and spring into the fork and clutch pedal. Check that the clearance between the push.rod and piston is 1 mm (0.04 in). Adjust if
necessary.
NOTE: As from the 1983 models, the cylinder cannot be adjusted.
4. Fit the panel under the dashboard.
5. Top up with brake fluid (grade DOT 4) and bleed the system. Refer to "Clutch System Bleeding". See: Service and Repair
