ASSEMBLY

Install electromagnet.        
Secure supply lead in clip.
Install screws (snap ring).

Press bearings into belt pulley.

Use press tool 999 5085 and counterhold 999 5142.
Install bearing one at a time.

Install snap ring.

Mount/install:

-

belt pulley on compressor. Use counterhold 999 5142. Tap pulley gently with plastic mallet.

inner snap ring

-

clutch. Align clutch with keyway opposite key. Tap down clutch with plastic mallet until first threads are visible. Use counterhold 999 5142

-

nut. Tighten to 38 Nm (28 ft lb).

compressor in car.
