Headlamp Wiper Arm: Service and Repair

-

Raise wiper arm.

-

Lift up cover while arm is raised.

-

Slacken nut.

-

Use a polygrip and pry wiper arm free.
Use the partially unscrewed nut to protect the thread.

-

Remove wiper arm.

-

Remove hose.

-

Fit new arm.

-

Reassemble in reverse order
Right side: place wiper arm below park stop when tightening nut Place arm above park stop.
Wiper should be firm against park stop.

-

Left side: wiper arm should be located above park stop when tightening.

-

Torque: 4 Nm (3 ft.lb).
