Air Bypass Valve: Service and Repair

Disconnecting Hoses

1.

Disconnect turbo charger air inlet hose.

2.

Disconnect by-pass valve vacuum hose.

Removing By-Pass Valve

3.

Valve housing is spring loaded, therefore remove the three Torx screws evenly.

4.

Remove valve.

By-Pass Valve

5.

Clean and inspect all components closely, especially the diaphragm. Replace as needed.

6.

Install valve with new gasket.

7.

Reassemble in reverse order.
