Check ignition coil primary winding by connecting an ohmmeter between terminals 1 (red-white) and 4 (blue).
Reading: 0.6 - 0.9 ohm
Checking Coil

If resistance is:
a. to low, replace ignition coil and retest.
b. to high, check resistance between coil terminals 1 and 15. Reading still to high, replace coil and retest. Reading correct, repair fault in wiring
or connectors.
Checking Coil Primary Winding

Check ignition coil secondary winding by connecting an ohmmeter between coil terminals 1 and high-voltage outlet.
Reading: 6.5 - 9.0 K ohms
13.
If not, replace ignition coil and retest.
Checking Power Stage Ground
14.
Check power stage ground wire by connecting the ohmmeter between terminal 2 and ground.
